San Luis Obispo resident June McIvor joins American-led Invenergy to support meaningful, long-term community engagement efforts across the Central Coast region for the Even Keel Wind offshore wind project
San Luis Obispo, CA – Invenergy, a leading privately held developer, owner, and operator of sustainable energy solutions and one of the three offshore wind leaseholders off the Central Coast of California, has announced the expansion of its California team with the addition of June McIvor who joins as the Even Keel Wind Community Engagement Manager.
On June 1, 2023, Invenergy was named official leaseholder of OCS-P 0565, an 80,000-acre parcel of seabed for offshore wind development by the U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM). Now known as Even Keel Wind, the project is in the early stages of development and builds on Invenergy’s proven track record of clean energy project development, American innovation, impactful community investment, and Tribal and stakeholder engagement.

McIvor will lead the community engagement efforts of the project and joins the local Even Keel Wind team, which is focused on long-term consultation with local Tribes, fisheries, state, and local government officials to support the comprehensive engagement activities around this major infrastructure project.
