AVF Development Signs Licensing Agreement with Local Content to Advance American Jobs and Empower Small Businesses

Long Island, NY, March 13, 2025 — AVF Development Corp., a Long Island-based construction and demolition leader with over 35 years of industry expertise, has signed a licensing agreement with Local Content, a technology compliance and deployment firm, to enhance its capabilities in public-private infrastructure development. This partnership aligns with AVF’s commitment to creating American jobs, empowering small businesses, and ensuring economic and workforce compliance for measurable benefits to New York taxpayers.

Under this agreement, Local Content will provide AVF with specialized tools and compliance solutions to strengthen their delivery of small business contracting, workforce development, and stakeholder engagement initiatives. AVF’s core services, which include demolition, excavation, site work, concrete work, underground utilities, and permits and site management, cater to residential homeowners, prime contractors, government entities, and developers.

The licensing agreement allows AVF to deliver enhanced compliance readiness solutions:

  • Strengthening supply chains by supporting local distributors of U.S.-manufactured products and ensuring compliance with regulations for local, veteran, women, and minority-owned businesses (LBE, SDVOB, MWBE).
  • Developing a skilled workforce through compliance training, technical recruitment, and job placement within public-private partnerships.
  • Refining local content strategies by analyzing public sentiment to reduce project delays and enhance transparency.

Looking forward, AVF is leveraging this agreement to accelerate several economic key initiatives this spring:

  • Hosting three Local Content Supplier Trainings:
    • Hempstead: April 22, 2025.
    • Amityville: April 23, 2025.
    • Brooklyn: March 6, 2025.
  • Supporting a $10,000 grant for the Local Content affiliate network partner, Sports Power Infrastructure’s Coach of the Year Grant Program, honoring youth and adult sports coaches across Long Island and New York City for advancing leadership and career development in sports.
  • Attending the New York | New Jersey Offshore Wind Supplier Forum on April 25, 2025, at the TWA Hotel in Queens, NY. Hosted by NYSERDA and NJEDA, this event will strengthen connections with local suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Providing mentoring and placement for participants of the Institutes for Workforce Advancement Future Ready program, funded by the New York Power Authority, which supports careers in composite manufacturing, drones, and renewable energy for adults across Long Island and New York City.

“This licensing agreement reflects our unwavering dedication to balancing regulatory and developer compliance with taxpayer public sentiment,” said [insert name, title, e.g., CEO of AVF Development]. “With Local Content’s tools and expertise, we are furthering our ability to create jobs, grow small businesses, and deliver impactful infrastructure projects.”
