Yesterday, Bluepoint Wind joined Newark Public Schools for a Back-to-School Kick-off event hosted by the District’s Office of Federal Programs & Grants. The goal of the event was to show support to the Newark community by providing students and their families with a chance to learn about various hashtag#Newark community-based organizations, participate in fun learning stations 👨🔬 , and receive free backpacks 🎒 , school supplies ✏, and books 📚 to build their home library. We were on hand with community partners like United Way of Greater Newark and Students 2 Science, and spent the time engaging students with STEM giveaways and clean energy-themed books and project information.
Bluepoint Wind is proud to support the Newark community and to share on the benefits that offshore wind will bring to communities throughout the NJ/NY region.
