Cosm’s 87-foot diameter, 12K-plus LED dome will make people feel like they’re magically close to the action of live sports and artistic events—from college football and NBA games to Premier League matches, UFC fights, and more.
Cosm, a leading immersive, technology, media, and entertainment company, today announced it will officially open its 65,000 square foot experiential venue at Grandscape in The Colony, Texas, on Aug. 31, 2024.
The company also announced that tickets are now on sale for its College Football Kickoff: a triple-header of marquee Week 1 games presented in Shared Reality which includes Clemson vs. Georgia (Aug. 31 at 11 am CT), Texas A&M vs. Notre Dame (Aug. 31 at 6:30 pm CT) and USC vs. LSU (Sept. 1 at 6:30 pm CT).
Tickets to Cosm Dallas events can be purchased now on Cosm.com or via Cosm’s fully integrated app, available to download in the App Store and on the Google Play Store.
With its innovative, design-forward venue and 87-foot diameter 12K+ LED dome, Cosm will redefine the way Dallas-area guests experience live sports, immersive art, and experiential entertainment via Shared Reality – an experience that bridges the virtual and physical worlds by merging state-of-the-art visuals with the energy of the crowd and an elevated food and beverage service. The company’s category-defining, live experience takes fans to the sidelines of the CFP Playoffs, courtside at NBA games, inside the Octagon at UFC championships, on the pitch at the biggest Premier League matches, and front row at the most sought-after events from around the globe.
Following Cosm’s opening weekend, ticketed events at the venue include U.S. Open tennis, Premier League soccer matches, and additional college football games throughout the month of September. Highlights of the Premier League schedule of events include Manchester United vs. Liverpool (Sept. 1) and Tottenham vs. Arsenal (Sept. 15).
The company’s slate of live sports offerings continues to expand through official partnerships with ESPN, the NBA, NBC Sports, TNT Sports, FOX Sports, UFC, and more.
In addition to live sports, ticketed events Cosm Dallas also include Cirque du Soleil’s timeless production “O” and immersive art experiences from members of the Cosm Studios Creator Program, including award-winning new media artist Nancy Baker Cahill; filmmaker, director, and co-founder of Planetary Collective Guy Reid; and acclaimed composer and new media artist Ricardo Romaneiro.
Cosm Dallas at Grandscape is the company’s second public venue, following the highly successful debut of its first venue in Los Angeles at Hollywood Park, which officially opened its doors in July 2024.
