Powered by Vineyard Offshore with additional support from Uncle Nearest and the Jason Thompson Foundation, the event set a new standard for community-focused initiatives.

Morning Activities Overview:

  • Sports Power Clean Energy Program: Engaging sports activities intertwined with clean energy education captivated participants of all ages.
  • Financial Literacy Seminar: ‘The Languages of Money’ seminar armed attendees with essential financial knowledge, stressing the importance of fiscal responsibility.

Community Day Impact: The day’s activities at Brownsville Collaborative Middle School were notably amplified by the Brooklyn Economic Development Center, led by La’Shawn Allen Muhammad. Their pivotal role in organizing the day and directly engaging with the youth was instrumental in bridging community connections and enhancing the educational experience. Vineyard Offshore’s contribution included the generous distribution of 200 backpacks filled with school supplies, ensuring local students are equipped for success.

Evening Panel Excellence: The summit concluded with an enriching panel discussion at Ivory on Park. Esteemed speakers such as Ivy Rivera, 19 Keys, La’Shawn Allen-Muhammad, Sadé Muhammad, and Ericka Pittman, guided by Sade Mohammed (CMO, TIME), explored critical topics like workforce development and business growth.
