Burlington, New Jersey – The USO Group is proud to announce that its CEO, Monica St Claire, has been recognized with the Rising Star Award by the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP) during this year’s Manufacturing Day celebrations. Held on October 4, 2024, the event highlighted exemplary leadership in the manufacturing sector, with the Rising Star Award presented to an individual who demonstrates exceptional potential and significant contributions to both the manufacturing community and New Jersey.
Earlier this year, Monica St Claire and the USO Group launched USO Subsea, a New Jersey-based technology R&D and manufacturing company. USO Subsea is dedicated to developing cutting-edge subsea technologies to address critical needs across the Renewable Energy, Telecommunications, Environmental, Agriculture, and Defense sectors. Under St Claire’s leadership, the company has made strides in promoting clean energy solutions, driving technological advancement, and fostering workforce development—solidifying her status as a role model among both emerging and established industry leaders.
In the past two years, St Claire has spearheaded the strategic expansion of the USO Group, transforming it from its flagship company, US Offshore Inc., into a comprehensive hub of technology-driven companies offering specialized services and solutions. This growth includes substantial investment in New Jersey, with over half of the USO Group’s companies headquartered or maintaining a presence in the state, including in Environmental Justice communities.
