Swim Safety Pathways To Offshore Wind/Maritime Careers | Various Locations 2024
Lack of access to swimming safety services within environmental justice communities dispositional impacts career pathways for the maritime industry, which is critical for industries such as offshore wind. Sports Power Clean Energy provides clean energy workforce education and swimming lessons in partnership with certified aquatics organizations to bridge these barriers for our future clean energy workforce.

For school-aged youth especially as they enter adolescents, their circles of influence are heavily impacted by peers and non-related adults within their areas of interest. This makes sports such a critical pathway to influence children’s and teens’ future career aspirations. These interests follow young people into adulthood. Sports Power Clean Energy meets youth and families where they are. Our clean-energy education curriculum and clean-energy professional insights expose youth, coaches, and parents to clean-energy lifestyles, workforce training, and career placement.
